How to get there: Halcyon Books is about 10 minutes walk from Hither Green Station (map) and Lee High Road is served by bus routes 122, 178, 261, 321 and 621, all of which stop near the shop.
Join us for a hot drink and leisurely browse of books at Halcyon Books, before a gentle walk in the local park.
Halcyon Books has a large selection of affordable second-hand books. You can order a hot drink and we can sit at the tables inside or outside on the back patio area, if the weather is agreeable.
Afterwards, we will go for a gentle stroll around Manor House Gardens, which is only about 2 minutes walk away. There is an excellent cafe, serving tasty and cheap food, so we can linger and have lunch if we want to.
