Review of Catford January meeting

Unfortunately our speaker for our January meeting had to cancel at the last minute.

We met as usual and held our ‘ethical dilemma draw’ instead, which involved picking interesting problems and questions out of a hat and attempting to shed some light on them through group discussion.

We ended up having an enjoyable and fascinating evening, with everyone present engaged in careful thought about many interesting topics. Despite there being over twenty people in the room, everyone had a chance to contribute, everyone was listened to with consideration and respect, and the wealth of shared experience and intellect made the event very rewarding.

The group enjoyed the evening so much that a suggestion was made that we do this more often than once a year, so we are considering making it slightly more regular. Keep an eye out for future events!

If you thought our planned meeting – a talk by Chris Moos that you can read more about here –  looked interesting then please keep an eye on the website/newsletter as we will be rescheduling it for a future month.
