In this talk Dr Oliver Scott Curry explains how science has explained morality, why there are multiple moral instincts, which moral rules are found all around the world, and what all of this means for moral philosophy.
Dr Oliver Scott Curry is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology, University of Oxford. His research investigates the nature, content and structure of human morality, using a range of techniques from philosophy, experimental and social psychology and comparative anthropology.
