Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice, to quote a past Prime Minister, the Nunhead Cemetery Open Day is finally going ahead this year after last year’s cancellation. We will again be in attendance offering books, advice on Humanism and the ever popular ‘Are you a Humanist?’ quiz.
As well as attracting new members, the event raises a reasonable sum of money for SELHuG. The day to put in your diary is Saturday September 4th which is also the London Open House Festival weekend; and what better place to start celebrating than Nunhead Cemetery?
Our stall will be open from 11am until 5.00pm: do please come along and join us, help sell books and raise awareness about Humanism, there will be shelter and seating. Having missed last year, we have an enormous amount of books to sell and conversations to be had about the meaning of life.
