At our monthly meeting on Thursday 17th December (for more information please go here), we will be collecting donations of food – as recommended in the list below.
It would be great if we can muster a generous donation – please do bring something along to that meeting.
The food is distributed by Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) at Room F3, Leemore Central Community Hub, Bonfield Road, Lewisham, SE13 5ES. You can find out more about AFRIL here.
Iolanda Chirico, founder and manager of AFRIL, has said that what they most need, to help refugees in Lewisham at the moment, is food. She has supplied the following list:
