Meeting: Write for Rights campaign

When: Monday 4 December, 7 – 9pm. Please drop in whenever you like.
Where: Richard I pub, 52/54 Royal Hill, Greenwich, SE10 8RT (map)

In November and December every year Amnesty International run a campaign called Write for Rights, encouraging people to write messages of support to people around the world who have suffered injustice and to write appeal letters to figures in authority.

SELHuG has contributed to this campaign over the last few years. Please join us on 4th December to find out about the campaign and how you can get involved.
We will be doing some letter writing, so please bring along pens/paper/postcards if you wish but there will be plenty of resources provided to get us going. This will include template letters and further information on all the cases in the campaign this year, so you can use this meeting just to find out more if you are unsure about whether you want to write letters straight away.

You can find out more about the campaign here.
