Introducing Humanism

Join us for a conversation about the best way to live

A new, free online course, Introducing Humanism: Non-religious Approaches to Life, starts on Monday 19 February.

3 hours a week, 6 weeks is how long it will take to learn about humanism – a non-religious, ethical worldview shared by millions across the world.

Join comedian Sandi Toksvig, philosopher Richard Norman and humanist celebrant Sophie Colligan among others to explore life’s big questions like: ‘How should I live?’, ‘How can I know what is true?’, ‘How should I treat others?’, and ‘What kind of world do I want?’

This course has been developed by the national charity Humanists UK in partnership with social learning platform FutureLearn.

Hester Brown, Chair of SELHuG, says: “I am going to be taking this course so I invite anyone interested in what Humanism is to join me online and we can learn together.”

There will be updates from Hester on our website and other social media, as she works through and reflects on the course.
