Please join us for what is bound to be an interesting open discussion about whether we can think about spirituality without religion. All views are welcome!
The evening will start with Sam Becker (Chair) giving a short introduction and review of Sam Harris’s latest book Waking Up: A guide to Spirituality without Religion. The inside flap informs us that this is ‘…a guide to meditation as a rational practice informed by neuroscience and psychology.’ There is no need to have read the book before coming.
This should provide some food for thought and some points for us to explore in our discussion.
