Letter in the Guardian!

There was a Guardian Editorial last week which raised the hackles of a number of Humanists, and prompted various responses – one of which came from SELHuG Treasurer Hester Brown.

You can read the original Editorial here.

You can see a picture of Hester’s letter below (slightly cut for the printed paper) or read her full response, plus that of others here.

One of the reasons many of us consciously decide to be more active as Humanists is to stand up for our beliefs in the public sphere, amongst the clamour of competing claims about how to lead a Good Life. Well done Hester, for helping to make our voice heard!
