Our July meeting is always our AGM when we review the year gone, make plans for the coming year, and elect officers and committee members.
Please let us know if you would like to get involved. We work as a team and welcome assistance, whether it is helping set up for meetings, organising a speaker or leading a social event.
Or what about joining the committee? You can be an ordinary committee member or stand for Chair, Secretary or Treasurer. No-one can be an officer in the same post for more than three years, so in 12 months’ time we will be looking for a new Chair and Treasurer. Members can put themselves forward for the committee up to seven days before the AGM, in writing to the Secretary, Tony Brewer at selhuginfo@gmail.com. Any questions to Tony at the same address.
This year we will be going straight to the pub after the AGM, to carry on discussions about the group, about humanism and everything else!
