Catching up with old friends at the Bromley lunch
The annual lunch for Bromley and SELHuG members held at the Greyhound on Bromley High Street each year is always a good chance to catch up with people you don’t otherwise see: some of us can only do evening meetings, some only afternoons, though a few loyal souls do attend both groups.
This year’s lunch was no exception: about 16 people came, the Greyhound delivered great value food as ever, and it was really good to see Barbara Smoker back on her feet after an operation, as witty as ever, with a new poem to share.
