Review: Nunhead Cemetery 2017

Nunhead Cemetery Open Day is an opportunity for us to be out in the community, talking to people about Humanism – what it is, what it means to us and what we get up to as a group.

It was another successful day for us this year, despite the intermittent rain and cold breeze. There was plenty of interest from passersby, a good take up of leaflets and books sold with £55-60 raised. Folk seem to expect us there and look out for our stall! Nunhead Day also gives us a chance to have a chat among ourselves not always possible at meetings.

This is an annual event so if you didn’t make it this year, keep an eye out for 2018. It is a great day out, with lots of stalls to browse, people to meet, activities for the whole family, music making and tours.
