On 15 October, we held the first of our bi-monthly brunches at Canvas and Cream in Forest Hill. The aim is to enjoy good food and drink, along with excellent company and relaxed conversation.
Canvas and Cream is obviously quite a trendy location and the cafe was full to bursting on a Sunday late morning. Thankfully, we had reserved a table and there was no need to queue! About half a dozen people turned up to this first brunch and we enjoyed varied conversation around the table, discussing all manner of things.
It was a very delightful way to get to know more about other people in the group, and perhaps people who can’t easily get to the other monthly meetings or who are more interested in the social aspect of meeting other Humanists, so we hope you will consider joining us at the next brunch in December!
