On the 15th October we met in the cosy environment of the Catford Constitutional Club for drinks and conversation. It was a busier evening than usual in the venue, with a meeting of library users upstairs and a table of crafters and knitters near us, but we found a comfortable corner and enjoyed the company.
The CCC is the local for some of our members and a new venue for others, but we all appreciated the good drink, the quiet (no music in the room we were in – excellent for conversation!) and ‘shabby chic’ vibe. It was a great chance to catch up with those we knew and to enjoy meeting new people.
