When: Thursday 5th July 2018, 7.30pm – starting on the dot!
Where: New Cross (map)
Our July meeting is always our AGM, where we hear the Annual Report from the Chair and Financial Report from the Treasurer, discuss any matters arising and elect Officers and committee members for the following year.
Please let us know if you are interested in joining the committee in any capacity. We are particularly interested in anyone who is willing to take on the role of Secretary (not as onerous as it sounds, as the website and newsletter is dealt with by another committee member). If you have questions about the role or want to get involved in any way, please email us.
We also have some members who make a wonderful contribution to the group by helping out in other ways without formally being on the committee, so please do let us know if you are willing to help out in any way, however small.
We also welcome ideas and suggestions for monthly meetings, social events and interesting trips. Let us know and help shape the activities of the group!
This year, after the (hopefully short!) AGM, we will be using the rest of the session for an extra ‘ethical dilemma’ session, with attendees bringing questions and moral conundrums to be discussed by the group. This is always popular and should be a fun and interesting way to finish the meeting before – for those who wish to – we retire to the pub opposite.
You can read about our ethical dilemma meeting in January here.
