Join us in glorious Greenwich Park for a Sunday lunchtime picnic. Time to chill, chat, eat and drink. If you can bring refreshments to share, email Hester at: selhuginfo@gmail.com and she will coordinate. Otherwise just bring something for yourself.
You can read about our picnic last year and see some photos here and the year before (more photos!) here.
When: Sunday 13 August, meeting at 1pm. If you are running late, call one of the contact numbers and we can update you exactly where we are in the park.
Where: At the top of Greenwich Park. If you don’t know Greenwich, the park is on a hill and Greenwich train station is at the bottom with the river, the market and historic buildings. It is a good 15 minute walk from the station up to the top. There are buses however – see below for more travel information.
We will meet at the main gates on Blackheath (the road there is called Charlton Way): see map here – we’ll be opposite the Greenwich Park Office. We plan to picnic where we did last year, a minute’s walk into the park, just outside the flower garden.
