Bromley March meetings: Fake news/Graham Bell

Update 8 March: due to the weather conditions, today’s meeting with Mike Flood (who is travelling from Milton Keynes) has been postponed.

There are two Bromley meetings in March. Please see below for details.

When: Wednesday 8 March 2:30 – 4:30 pm 
Where: United Reformed Church, Bromley (map)
There will be a charge of £4 to pay for the hire of the room.

The Bromley Humanist Group will be joined by Mike Flood (Chair of Milton Keynes Humanist Group) on the topic of ‘Fake News’

When: Saturday 4 March 4 – 6pm plus refreshments and a film showing at 7pm
Where: Bromley Friends House, Ravensbourne Rd (map)

This meeting will be honouring the memory of Graham Bell. Members of BHG, the Cuban Solidarity Campaign and the Chomsky Readers Group (all of which Graham was a member) will meet in the small room at Bromley Friends House from 4- 6pm, followed by refreshments. At 7 pm we will watch the John Pilger film concerning the plight of the Chagos Islanders, which Graham showed to both the BHG and the Bromley Socialist Film Co-op.
